When I was a little girl, my mom and dad would read to me every night. So much so they took to creating imaginative stories based off my favorite stories incorporating me with their respective heroines-my favorite was their rendition of Alice in Wonderland where I would travel life through the rabbit hole with Alice and her friends.
March is reading month, so what better way to celebrate than emulate our favorite storybook characters? We all have connections to books and the stories they tell-even Hollywood has taken to basing many of their blockbusters including The Hobbit, Paddington Bear, The Hunger Games, and most recently Cinderella. Many of these movies inspire their respective season’s fashion as well.
Since we never truly stop dressing up after our inception of discovering our mothers high heels and our father’s ties who’s to say we can’t get in touch with our inner child and play around our style based off our favorite storybook character
